SERVICES: Veterans and/or dependents claims on the veterans
administration and carry various literature pertaining to veterans.
They are the agent for the Soldiers Relief Fund and are available to help
anyone who’s been in the service and received an honorable discharge with
at least one day wartime service. They also handle grants for emergency
assistance.

SERVICES: Veterans and Non-Veterans: job placement, surplus
food and locating and obtaining adequate housing while providing temporary
shelter; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder counseling, agent orange counseling
for both veterans and their victimized children; VA claims, surplus food
distribution for veteran and their families.

FEE: None
SERVICES: The Michigan Veterans Trust Fund allocates funds of
each County Committee to be used for assistance to eligible honorably discharged
war time veterans for emergency financial needs. Assistance is also
available for the spouse and/or widow and dependent children if the veteran
is unable to apply in person (ie., ill, hospitalized, incarcerated or deceased).
