DESCRIPTION: Legal Services of Northern Michigan provides legal assistance in civil cases to people who receive public assistance or have family incomes below 125% of the federal poverty level. Legal Services represents people in a wide range of cases, including spouse assaults, divorce and family law problems, welfare,SSI claims and utiliy shut offs. Legal Services does not handle criminal cases
